Brett Rosenhaus Managing Partner & Surety Bond Specialist
As a managing Partner of Nielson, Rosenhaus & Associates and one of the Principles of NHC, Brett brings with him 25 years of experience in the surety industry. Throughout those years, he has represented Sub and General Contractors with programs as small as start-ups to multiple ENR Top 400 Contractors. As a highly experienced surety professional, Brett has developed strategic relationships with many surety clients as well as the top Surety Companies. He is also passionate about helping his client’s business grow, working with them to overcome the challenges associated with both controlled and unexpected growth. His skill set came to good use for NHC as well when the company decided to expand their business, Brett played an integral part in opening both the Orlando and St. Petersburg offices for Nielson, Hoover & Company.
In addittion to his multiple positions with the Nielson Hoover Group, Brett is an active member of the East Cost Chapter of the AGC where he has served as a Director and is currently in charge of the membership committee. He is very active within the chapter and a regular participant in the events and functions as well as being committed to lending his voice when it comes to local and state legislative issues facing the industry.
Brett attended the University of Florida. He and his family recently made the move to Lighthouse Point, Florida so he could be closer to enjoying his passion for scuba diving and boating.

Rita Lazarides Contract Bond Specialist
Rita started her career as an Account Manager/Contract Surety Specialist with the Nielson Hoover Group in 2008 when she moved from Jacksonville to Tampa, Florida to join Nielson, Wojtowicz, Neu & Associates. In 2016 she transferred to the West Palm Beach office of Nielson Rosenhaus & Associates.
In 2001 Rita received her 4040 license and earned her INS designation. Her responsibilities include issuing bonds and maintaining, renewing and growing a dedicated book of business.
Rita has been in the insurance field for over for 16 years, with the last 12 working solely in the surety industry.

Richard Zimmerman Surety Bond Specialist
As a surety bond specialist, Richard utilizes his 20+ years of experience in the financial markets, his corporate executive background with Estee Lauder’s Aramis division, combined with his surety expertise at NHC, enables him to provide a comprehensive and diverse advantage to his clients. His expertise in these various fields has given him a competitive edge in the surety industry.
Richard has an in-depth knowledge of investment cash flow, economic conditions and how they affect the credit markets. With his expertise in these areas, he devises strategies and negotiates relentlessly on behalf of his clients. He is accustomed to working tirelessly, night and day, for the clients he represents. Richard also specializes in financial analysis with a concentration on balance sheets, as well as profit & loss management and analytics. Richard’s array of experience affords his clients significantly more than just your traditional bond agent. He provides guidance, manages expectations, and handles business quickly and efficiently – all while building strong relationships.
Richard attended Memphis State University and majored in Finance. He currently lives in Wellington, Florida with his wife Jacqueline and their four children, Ashla, Addison, Nason and Remi. He is an avid tennis and basketball player and attends LifeChurch of Wellington.

Dedi Belis Surety Bond Specialist
As a Surety Bond Specialist in the Nielson, Rosenhaus & Associates office of NHC, Dedi brings 25+ years of experience in the surety industry to her clients. As a 2nd generation surety specialist in Florida (her mom was a surety coordinator for a large agency) you could say it’s in her blood. Through the years, she has had the privilege of working with clients of all types and sizes, from small start-up firms acquiring their first bond, to large multi-million dollar contractors working on complex projects. In addition to working with contractors of every specialty, she specializes in Commercial Surety placements, working with a wide range of clients including, home builders, manufacturers and the health care industry.
Dedi is passionate about helping her clients achieve their business goals.
In addition to tirelessly advocating for her clients, Dedi is an active volunteer member with the NASBP (National Association of Surety Bond Producers). She has been an instructor for the William J. Angell surety school since 2009, and is currently the Chair of the Professional Development Committee. In addition, she is a member of both the Commercial Surety Committee and Virtual Seminar Editorial Board. Being active with the NASBP is Dedi’s way of giving back, to an industry that has given much to her.
Dedi is a native Floridian and currently lives in beautiful, Tequesta, FL with her husband of 25 years, Brian, and their always ravenous Weimaraner, Ghost. When not working, she loves to entertain and is a serious home chef.

Christian Collins Surety Bond Specialist
As a surety bond specialist, Christian brings his winning formula of knowledge of the construction industry, discipline and determination to help his clients succeed.
Christian was raised by a WWII drill Sergeant who instilled in him the virtue of hard work at an early age. He then embarked on his journey in the construction industry, landing his first real job remodeling homes for private investors, were he gained hands-on experience of different trades.
As a firm believer in pursuing an opportunity, he later helped manage new construction and renovations for multi-million dollar projects. His keen understanding of budgeting, scheduling, and his ability to adapt to and pursue innovation allowed him to see an opportunity in the global financial collapse when most people were afraid, leading him to he pursue a career in the financial industry. His particular interest in the price of materials led him to step into the world of commodities were he was able to identify the picture perfect effect of controlled and uncontrolled conditions on markets and he developed an excellent reputation for working closely with his clients to help them reach their financial goals and hedge their risk.
As fate would have it, his passion for construction and his financial background are a perfect fit for the needs of today’s contractors, as he works tirelessly and diligently for his clients and enjoys helping contractors grow no matter their size and capabilities.
In his free time when he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. His hobbies include reading, fishing, spear fishing, aquaponic gardening, and he is an avid aquarist.
